Mayors: Join the Challenge and Raise Money for Your Favorite Cause!

What is it? Its easy Mayors face off for a bit of friendly competition to raise money for the charity of their choice. Bring your own two-person kayak, or we will provide one for you. Bring a willing partner to paddle with you, and let the race begin!

How does it work? Register at the link above. Show up to the Spirit of the Lake Regatta. Check in with the Mayors Cup Liaison. Bring your own boat or use one of that we will provide. Do a warm-up lap. Get ready. Set. GO!

2013 marked the first Mayors Challenge Cup, started by Grand Lake Mayor Judy Burke, with the help of Estes Park Mayor Bill Pinkham. The Mayors Challenge is a 2-person kayak race held on Grand Lake. Watch Mayors Burke & Pinkham face off for a trophy and good fun, while raising money for a cause. Each Mayor chooses their own charity to see who can raise the most moneyLearn more here.
